This workshop will look at some of the ways in which Outlook can be automated and customised to make it work more effectively and efficiently for you and your business.

  • Customise Outlook views: the Backstage, Ribbon Interface, the Quick Access Toolbar and the Navigation Bar.

  • Tips and tricks to make Outlook more efficient.

  • Create, customise and manage emails and calendars including emailing selected dates of a calendar.

  • Use the Focused inbox.

  • Schedule and manage Meetings and Appointments including the Schedule Assistant, changing times and tracking attendees.

  • Automate Outlook by creating Quick Parts and Quick Steps.

  • Create and organise Tags such as  Flags and Categories to help manage large numbers of emails.

  • Deal effectively with Attachments.

  • Create Searches to keep track of emails and meetings.

  • Add and manage Contacts including Group Contacts.

  • Create and manage Tasks and Notes.

Required skills: This is an Intermediate level workshop and attendees will be current users of Outlook who would like to increase their knowledge and skills.
